Hi Tina, I am also a genealogy addict but my sister has be beat by a mile. She sent me a name that I'd never heard of but after locating the data she had indicated she informed me that he was a relatively close cousin about whom we'd not been aware. Go figure!

I've been a genealogy buff for about 20 years or so. My father's side of the family is from Southeastern Kentucky (Harlan County, etc.). My mother's family is mostly from NE Tennessee (Cumberland Gap area).
I am presently following leaves on Ancestry.com and I'm taking a lot of what I'm finding with a grain of salt. :-) I'm allegedly descendended from several Roman emperors but I can't prove it officially.
