Welcome Mike and good luck with your weight loss journey. We are all in this together and the struggle is universal except for those poor souls who have no choices. Having choices is the crux of our dilemma. So show us all how much fun and how good it makes one feel to eat well and get lots of exercise. I am quite good with the exercise but my food choices give pause once in a while. Today will be very good though. I really like living far from the grocery store so that if I plan my grocery list well things go well This is a great team with good leadership and I have always been active on it because of it.

Hello all, just wanted to take a quick second to introduce myself to the group.

My name is Mike, I'm a 32 year old married guy living in Maryland and working as a government contractor in DC. I have a significant amount of weight to lose (well over 100 pounds), but I'm definitely up for the challenge.

I've been on SP for 7 weeks now and so far I've lost 12.5 pounds. So I'm definitely losing weight at a tortoise pace (a little more than 1.75 pounds a week), but I'm happy that the scale is going down.

I think that's all for now, just wanted to give a quick intro, if you want to know more about me, just ask, check out my sparkpage or check out my spark blog (I blog daily).
