Welcome to the team. Losing slowly seems to be more about developing life-long sustainable habits than just moving the scale. My weight comes off at about the rate of 1 pound a month - or thereabouts. But I can still see that I have lost 20 pounds in just about a year. Find what works for you for diet and exercise and watch what happens! Use the SparkPeople trackers and other tools and the time will fly! Good luck and best wishes for great progress, even if it is slow.

I lose weight very slowly - not by choice but the way my body works. I hope that seeing others have the same issue will help me to still keep it moving!
