Many of us (maybe most of us?) have lost weight, only to regain it again -- the good thing is, that doesn't mean you can't start over! Take one day at a time, make small changes gradually instead of trying to change everything at once, and find the support and tools you need for success here at Spark People. Dealing with grief can make it very difficult to focus on taking care of yourself - or it can be eased by throwing yourself into finding healthy foods and recipes that you like, exercising to not only become more fit but also to tire your body so that you can sleep better, and interacting with supportive friends.
