Welcome to the team! You'll probably find that accurate tracking of everything that you pop into your mouth helps to continue the momentum too. I eat so much more without realising it when I don't track!!

I am new to this site and team but not new to the journey of logging & weight loss. I began my journey on 02.21.11 (15 months ago) at 331.2lbs. My work was having a weight challenge with teams and I thought "What the heck?" and gave it a try. During the 8 weeks of the challenge I lost 27lbs by being more thoughtful of what I ate and walking about 1 or 1-1/2 miles per day on work lunches (3-5 times a week). Once I realized that I did have it in me to do that, I knew that I couldn't stop.
Currently I have lost 85lbs. I have been stuck between 245 and 247 for the past month. I am okay with that. It just feels to me like my body has hit a spot where it is comfortable and is showing me how to maintain for a little bit before deciding it is time to lose weight again. I am just riding it out. I still walk most days on lunch but go 2 miles now. I did the 30 Day Shred series and have moved onto Banish Fat Boost Metabolism now. I am loving the kickboxing aspects of this one. I have been slacking a bit on the actual workouts though. I was working out 4-5 times a week and lately it's been 2-3. So I know that when I step back up on the exercise that I will probably start to see drops in my weight again.
I look forward to hearing from all of you. I guess this is a good team for me to join because I feel that 85lbs in 15 months is a slow & steady pace. I want this to be something that I can live with for the rest of my life and I don't want to lose weight at such a fast rate that I have skin just hanging on my body. I don't want to look like I am sick. I want to look (and BE) healthy!
