Coming back to SP and this team after being here on and off for several years. I can sympathize with you on the yoyo dieting and losing/gaining weight over the years. It's frustrating. Guess the best thing I have found that helps is the kind of support and motivation that you get here on SP. Definitely a slow loser so am glad to be back and trying to do it right this time. Welcome to SP and to the team! I can so identify with you - even though I didn't gain weight until I was in my 40's - but ever since then it's been you-you dieting for me too. I'm still struggling, but determined that 2012 is going to be the year I reach my goal, and maintain it!!
I am healthier and stronger since joining SP - but still working towards my goal.
I know we can do it.... we just need to make up our minds and be consistent!!

I've been a yo-yo since I was 16 years old. I though I was so FAT,but, really, I can't find a picture where I am fat at that age. I wish things would've been different and I would've been accepted for who I was (my mom sent me to WW.) But,it's my struggle now and I don't give up!
I totally know where you are coming from. I started "dieting" at 14 when I was 5'2" and 165 pounds. I dieted for years. Last Aug (2011) I discovered Spark People and learned that diet is the nasty word I had thought it to be. Until I decided to make a healthy "lifestyle change" in my eating I couldn't keep the weight off.
Stick with us. We are a great group who will encourage you, give advice when asked for and help you on your healthy lifestyle change.

i am dieting since i was 11 i have been great a losing weight but only to gain back more, the last time I joined a weightloss company and did lose 5o lbs on healthy diet, but even though i thought I had mastered the correct way to eat, Somewhere i get derailed and gain it all back, So here I am back down on bended knee begging for help and inspiration, Id love to hear about any sucess stories, especially from people who are over 100 pounds and nearing 50 years.
