I sure understand about the impact the weather makes on our emotions and how our bodies react. It has rained nonstop around here and if it stops for a few mins. I get all excited. We are just living in limbo dying to get back to Mexico. This is just a total nonsummer this year. July being almost over and I think we had two nice days total. I just feel cold all the time and want to eat comfort food to make myself feel better. I haven't put on any weight and only managed to lose 2 lbs. Crazy!!!!!

My apologies for dropping off the face of the earth, folks. The trip to take care of my dad in Texas ended up being more of a challenge for me physically than I anticipated and the intense heat there followed by huge, monsoon thunderstorms daily here, followed by more triple digit heat has been playing havoc with my body and my health issues. I've kind of just holed up at home huddled into a ball of pain of waiting it out. I'm finally starting to come out of it and rejoin the human race again and wanted to say hello to everyone again!
I hope everyone has been well and enjoying their summer. I'm glad to be back and look forward to hearing how everyone is doing!!
Courage isn't always a lion's roar- It is sometimes the heart at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."
