thank you everyone for welcoming me to the team!!! i just found all your responses by accident, i guess i still dont know everything about the site, theres so much to learn still. all of you have really encouraged me a lot. yep,were all doin it the old fashioned way, diet and excersize, god knows, i have tried EVERYTHING else on earth!!!! i guess the novelty of a new weight loss plan has now worn off, so i dont have the new high of starting!!! but im movin along, slowly but steadily. there is NO WAY i will ever give up!!!!!! everyone have a awesome holiday!!

Hi Deb, I think you are doing well. I know I have lost a lot, but I have not had any changes for about 3 months! Hoping to see something soon, BUT I always say, I'm not gaining!! That is definitely a plus! Take you time and it will start. Even one pound a month is progress.

Hi Debbie! I'm new here too; or rather returning after being gone awhile and starting over. I loved the team the first time I was here but had to cut my computer time and focus on some family issues for awhile. But now I am taking the ME time that I need. emoticon Debbie and emoticon .Glad you joined us. We are all, at times, frustrated with our weight loss. I always stand back & say "OK, I have only lost 10#. I can't get any more to come off!" I go and lift a 10# bag of sugar or flour and realize that I no longer carry that amount with me 24/7. I am thrilled!! I have been on a plateau for about 10-12 wks. now and still look at it I haven't gained and the 70# lost is way too much for me to try and lift. Yes, it is positive thinking but it does work. Give it a try and know tomorrow is a new day (yes, Thanksgiving!) and begin anew. Best wishes on your journey to a healthier lifestyle. Also, congrats on you being non-smoker!! You will continue to gain better health for quitting.

Debbie emoticon to Slowest Loser. First off, emoticon on quitting cigarettes. 4 packs a day. Whew. That will put weight on anyone. Take the weight lose no matter how long it took you. In reverse you could have gained 8 pounds.

i feel like a looser cause ive only lost 8 pounds in 3 1/2 months, while everyone is loosing like crazy!!! im 52, have a under active thyroid,i take meds for it too, i quit smoking a year ago, 4 packs a day and my metabolism is really bad!!!
