That is EXACTLY where I am. I feel better, I have more engery, I'm eating better but the scale hasn't changed in like 6 weeks (actually its gone up 1/2 a lbs in that time). It is so frustrating at times that I'm debating what to do about it.
I only weigh once a week now, but I'm debating if I should more or less. I was losing more when I weighted every day, but also more frustrated by the ups and downs.

Welcome to the Slowest Loser Team. This is a wonderful concept and is great because you realize that no matter how little you lose it is still coming off.
"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government."
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. " Thomas Jefferson
I too thought about giving up since I wasn't making noticeable progress on the scale. I have tons of energy, my eating is better but I still feel like a failure because I couldn't make the ticker go down.
I am so glad that us turles have a place to convene!!

Hey Everyone! Iím so happy I caught the blog announcing the launch of this team! This is just what I need right now. I was so-o on the verge of giving up but the principle of this team has really gone to my heart. Iíve had a lifetime of yo-yo dieting which is catching up with me now that Iím older in the form of various health problems Ė none of them very serious and I would like it to stay that way. The other thing I would like is more energy for my grandchildren. Iíve been with Spark since September last year and I really love it Ė itís rare for me not to stop by every day to track my food, gather worthwhile information and check in with people I have come to care about. However I have not done well on the weight loss front although I am certainly living a healthier life. ĎModeration in all thingsí is what everyone recommends but Iím not a particularly moderate person and I find it difficult to sustain. Iíve been up and down the scales since I joined Ė story of my life. I try too hard Ė I have no patience Ė I canít keep it going Ė I give up. This applies to both food and physical activity and I really do have to get onto an even keel. I feel that this team is the place to do that Ė permission to do it slowly and therefore thoroughly. I DO hope I can live up to the Team principle.
