Hello everybody! I think I have found the right place for me!
I'm one of those that have tried all the crazy diets and found them counter productive. My last attempt was a very extreme vegetable soup diet that made me feel MISERABLE!!!! I was on vegetable soup and juice for a week, had horrible stomach cramps, I was hungry all the time, it was horrible! That was the turning point. I had to find a 'normal' diet even if it took several years to reach my goal.
I understand now that speeding my metabolism is a process, and it takes a long adjustment to go from almost total inactivity to getting moving and building muscle.
As of yesterday, I have reached my first goal of loosing 10 pounds: I have lost 12 lbs!!!!! And I feel like I could do this forever! I don't feel like missing my workouts or cheating! I really feel capable of doing this! It is such a great feeling!
