we tend toward the whole foods, eat to live approach, heavy on the salads and soups. we eat as much raw, both fruits and vegetables, as possible, but i've just never been a fan of smoothies - i like to see what i eat!

live every day so the border collie is happy for a good, active life!

Eating got me into this mess and eating is going to get me out of this mess

THE SALAD IS THE MAIN DISH

The greatest act can be one little victory ...Celebrate the moment as it turns into one more. Another chance at victory another chance to score. The measure of the moment is a diff'rence of degree. Just one little victory, a spirit breakin' free. One little victory-Rush

Welcome!

I hope you carb up with fresh fruit and green up with green smoothies for fuel on that running!
I'm assuming you cook your food instead of being a raw vegan. You may want to question that at some time and switch to all raw. The nutrition is in the natural state of the fruits, vegies, nuts, and seeds.

Have you read 80/10/10 by Dr. Douglas Graham yet? He's not only a nutritional guru on raw but he is also an athletics specialist.

hi there!
i've followed a plant-based vegan diet for 4 years now since reading the china study. was vegetarian/flexitarian for several years before that. lost weight when we first switched to vegan eating, but since then the usual up and down of 5-10 lbs that i have decided are going to go - now.

i've gotten back to running now that the snow has finally melted, and try to get out 30 miles a week in a combination of running and walking. a border collie helps make sure i do this:-)

live every day so the border collie is happy for a good, active life!
