Hello, my name is Heather and this is the first time I've ever joined a group to help me to reduce my stress. At first I wouldn't consider my life stressful, but after taking the stress quiz it really got me to thinking. I'm a single mother in the military at a secretarian job. I'm not overweight and I'm looking to lose 10 pounds (started 2.5 weeks ago). So far I've lost 3 pounds, which I'm happy about. But looking at my caloric intake this week has gotten me to worry if I will meet my goal on time. I've noticed that I turn to little things here and there to either celebrate little victories or to say, "I'm a little stressed, I need this". I do have a boyfriend, but his daughters have been visiting in the last two weeks. I've seen my stress increase because his ex came along with the girls and I haven't been able to spend much time with him. So, I realized that I need a support system aside from him. He's wonderful and all, but when he's unavailable, I need a support system aside from myself. I look forward to working on my stress and meeting some new people.
