Good morning everyone!! Or afternoon or evening if that be the case.
My name is Sara, and I am here to whip myself, and my family into shape! Though when you are the size of a string bean and under the ages of 7, Im not sure any shape whiping is needed....
Moving on! I am the mother to 3 amazing adorable kids, ages 6 1/2, 5, and 3. I work part time at my local YMCA's child care centers. And here is where I deserve a slap in the face. I have a free membership, I have never stepped foot in the fitness center, or pool, or any other room that would cause me to sweat. However! That is something I plan on changing very soon :)
I love the summer and outdoors, and do amazingly well with fitness activities when the weather is nice. Unfortunatley I live in the frigid land of North Dakota, where currently we have a -30 temperature with windchill. So during the cold months I turn in to a slug and do nothing. But that needs to change. I have back problems and part of the solution is being active. So if I want to get out of bed and be able to pick up my kids every day without crying out from back pain, I need to get my butt in gear and jump on the healthy train!
So that's going to be my introduction for the moment. Some movement needs to happen, like chasing my 3 year old down the hallway to get him dressed. And getting ready for work would probably be a good idea too....
