No one said it'll be easy. It may be really hard. Let's do it right and make it a new lifestyle.

Hi, I am new to the challenges here at Sparks people but identified this challenge as one of my personel goals with my quest of becoming healthier. I weighed in at 267 in December 2012 when I went to an appointment at a Bariatric Center. I decided that I did not want to consider surgery for myself until I proved to myself that I needed a surgical intervention. Since then I have not been on a diet rather changing my life plan be a healthier one. When my eyes opened up in December I realize that I was not cooking at home rather just grabbing fast food or ordering a pizza all the time. So now on Sunday's I look to plan for my lunches and dinners with home cooked meals. I am not perfect but I keep telling myself that it is more about the awareness and changing when I have gone astray. I am progressing on my path and have lost 8lbs at my last weigh in. I am hopeful that my sparks team and my dietician can help me identify the healthier me. I am excited to be here.
