You are probably right - I should.

I don't weigh myself, I can't have a scale I get too obsessive about it having one around.
But I will make an appointment with my nutritionist who has been doing my weigh ins in the past.

Thank you for the comment, and gentle push to do what is right.

Sylvia a very smart coach I had long ago asked us all to write out specific goals and how we planned to reach them, when we were all done and he looked at them he complimented our work and then told us that we had all left out the most important part. The journey to our goals, he stated includes a destination and a route, but without the beginning we are walking a path without knowing how much or even if we are making progress. As hard as it maybe I recommend that you weight yourself and we will be here to support your success and to help you up IF you fall.

Hi everyone -

I'm sylvie & not *new* but sadly, inactive for some time.
Started nursing school and through the stress and workload, managed to fall off track.

A little about me -- i'm 39, and in April of 2011 decided I needed to get myself healthy.
I am a compulsive eater, binger & food/sugar addict working at my recovery.
Since April of 2011 I have lost 114 lbs (started at 315) and felt fantastic, but have gained about 15-20 of that back since starting school. I'm needing to weigh myself but want to physically get myself active and back in this before doing that, so I don't discourage myself.

I want to work at building a healthier relationship with food again, I was doing so well and need to get at that again.. I need new meal ideas, snack ideas and miss the feeling of when being in the kitchen felt good, instead of anxious!

Looking forward to posting with you all here!
