KITT52: I'm with you! When Monday morning comes, both feet hit the floor running. I'm a busy high-school and college teacher with over 230 students per semester. My day is 15 hours in front of students and I have no time to eat the foods I should unless I utilize weekends to do food prep in advance. That way, I wake up, grab and go -- and I'm taking all healthy foods with me along with the day's water supply. It's a very good way to take control of your food program.

DANCEANDSING2: Yup -- most of the stuff I use is modified from the SP food plan. I adjust it somewhat for taste and plate appeal. If I swap, it's usually fairly even. So yes, the food I cook is just plain "stuff" -- PLUS a bit of me, which is important! Also, I've created some fairly unique recipies such as Low-Fat-to-No Fat Shrimp Scampi. Perhaps I can share some of those.

SMURFET: Looking forward to swapping recipies. I use a lot of the recipies from the food program on SP and modify them somewhat for taste, plate appeal, etc... I'm going to start a blog here titled "What's on My Plate?" I did this on Facebook and my students gave a real dose of how appealing good, healthy and nutritious food can look and taste! What do you think of a blog like this? Will it work here?

Hi everyone, I'm Bob. I love to cook and am better at it than a lot of people I know. I worked in a commercial kitchen for several years while taking my graduate degrees. I cook clean and healthy and my kitchen is spotless. I shop on Saturday and prep all food for the coming week on Sunday -- takes only 1.5 hours to do an entire week if you know how to mutli-task in the kitchen. I'm looking forward to interacting with all of you here. Cheers to GREAT high-quality food that tastes as good on your plate as it smells on the burner!!!
