I'm also trying to avoid the word diet also, with all the stigma and everything else that comes with it. Especially in reality everyone is on a "diet" just some peoples diets consist of massive amounts of fast food. I'm just trying to follow a more balanced meal plan and eat healthier. I so have issues with portion control. I'm trying to avoid getting hung up on numbers on the scale and just hope the reprogramming of my portion control will make good things happen all around.
LOL, Jena, love that expression... you just have "overs"... I don't refer to the way I eat as a diet but rather a meal plan. I avoid the word diet at all coast so that I don't cause a panic that will lead to the devouring of a bag of potato chips in one sitting. But with my meal plan, I have trouble accounting for eating out. I don't like to have to try to make a decision as to what might be the healthiest thing for me, I just eat at home and sit with friends while they eat. I am new to this meal plan and logging my food, I have always bucked it before, but SP makes it simple. I simply eat at home, if anyone asks it's because I am eating as organic as I can get. If someone wants to argue with me, I find that rather senseless and tell them so, it's my body and I choose to put in it what I choose to put in it. Why people find that so offensive or such a challenge is beyond me. But eating out is not currently an option I entertain.

Hi Allison, my name is Carey. I tend to have the exact opposite problem as you. I have no problem cooking dinner. My problems tend to be cooking too much and never planning for "left over days". Then there's so much food in the fridge you don't want to waste it. I rarely get up and exercise at all. That's where I'm lazy.

Hello my name is Allison. One of the main problems I have with Weight loss is cooking! I will go to the gym religiously but when it comes to preparing my foods I am really lazy! I hope to push myself to cook responsibly and deliciously!
