Good for you! Making change as a family is so valuable! This way, it is not just about demonizing or ostracizing the new "healthier" choices that one member has to make to start a new way of life for themselves. Everyone can afford to make healthier choices, and those choices are lasting when you can make them as a team!
Hi I'm new here I'm trying to get back to cooking healthy for my whole family. My 15 yr old son is overweight and the doctor wants him to make better choices and eat smaller portions and of course exersise more. He's not pushing him to lose weight but of course that will be the benifit from moving more and eating healthier. So I'm commited to changing allot of my recipes to heathier ones and planning ahead of time so we dont do take out. I dont want my kids to be unhealthy because of my bad choices of meals or laziness and not wanting to cook. I've gotten into the bad habit of take out food and need to stop. Allot has to do with me having bad health this year and not having energy to get up and cook. I'am getting better now so I will do my best to help myself and my family because I love them
