I'd love to hear what you get on your shopping trip. That's where I have difficulty. I can't decide what to stock up on. It seems everytime I try to plan ahead I end up throwing food out because it goes bad before I get around to using it. Ace from Reading,MA
I tried this challenge before, but wasn't able to commit to cooking as I ate out most of the time. This year, I've been cooking and plan to continue feeding myself even more.
For the challenge I plan to look up recipes on Thursday. Go shopping on Friday or Saturday. Cook on Sunday. Enjoy my home made meals every day of the week.
Breakfast and lunch are already part of my routine. I plan to add dinner and snacks to the home-made equation. I want to cook one soup and one fish dish as well as a healthy dessert to make my fun complete. I already cook a yummy starch, vegetable, and non-fish protein dish. These things are my lunch.
This is going to be fun and I'm sure soup and fish will be much more enjoyable that pb&j for dinner.
