What a good mom you are to be there for your "baby" so thoroughly. Steal some minutes away for yourself when you can, in waiting rooms, naptimes, etc. Take care of yourself and that is a good example for your kids, too. Don't forget to accept hellp when it is offered.

one day at a time if thats all we can do well then its one more than we had before so i feel great it just takes time iam sorry about your 4 year old and i know you have lots on your plate right now . try to find support groups and talk to the doctors about you and what you are goin threw and i know you can recieve so comfort.
i started this at 248.8 pounds and am hoping i can lose at least 50 in one year.

Hi Momtothree First of all remember you are not alone and you have taken the first step towards time for yourself and that is by joining Spark. I had a period of time when I lost touch with Spark and then all of a sudden an email popped up that caught my interest and now I look forward to checking into my emails each day to see what I have gotten from Spark. It is a small step but it does give me time for myself. Making time for yourself is hard but even a couple minutes each day will make you feel better. I am sure you know this already but the key to taking care of your kids is to keep you healthy so push yourself to find that time.

I am a mom to three very different aged children from a 23, 19, and 4. My four year old has cerebral palsey caused by a stroke. This health issue has caused my life to go in a whirlwind. We live 6 to 8 hours away from medical facilites for him and he has four to five therapies a week during school year. This summer has consisted of many trips to for medical reasons which means many over nights and much stress. I don't have much time to be on the computer, but am trying to make a little time each day to read articles. I have also started copying the weeks menu and then checking the food off that way which has helped. I am having a hard time getting around this sight, but feel if I had more time I would get better. In general I am just a tired, stressed, overwhelmed mom who is trying to put some me time back into my life instead of helping everyone else in the family 24/7.
