emoticon emoticon emoticon ! This site has so much to offer that it can be overwhelming at times. What helped me initially, which I still do at times, is to go to my Sparkpoints page, go down the list and do the challenges that interest me.

When I'm short on time, the minimum I'll do is track food....that's the number one tool that helped me. You think you know what is going in your mouth but until you track it regularly, it can be shocking sometimes. Tracking exercise is another good minimum thing to do when you get moving. Reading and responding to blogs is always good. Good Luck!

Hello! I am a teacher, wife, and mother of 2 tinys. I used to do WW pretty regularly and loved it, but when my 2nd was born, it was just too hard to get to the meetings and make it all work.
My husband works mostly nights and weekends, so I am the primary parent, which I love, but it has come to my attention in the last few weeks that I don't spend a second of my day on myself. Between teaching middle school and taking care of my kids, I have let myself become sorely neglected!
I looked at myself in the mirror the other day and was pretty upset with myself, but then stopped to think, what are you doing about it? NOTHING! So, here I go. I am doing something about it! I have 50 pounds to loose and a little self confidence to get back. I owe it to myself. I owe it to my daughter. How can I teach her to love herself if I don't love myself first! I have to be a good example for her. AND I have to be a good advocate for myself.
I am excited about this. I only hope I can figure it out and keep it up with the 5 minutes a day I have to concentrate on myself. Any quick tips to learn the system? One step at a time, right? Gotta be proud of the things you DO accomplish. I am proud that I signed up today. That is enough for now. I am going to celebrate with a nice pat on the back!!!!
