Hi @KingD11!

And if you try to love your life, to start. Sometimes, I cry when I see my body in the mirror. I'm french, young, no boyfriend, no child, just a little dog and my over 300 lbs (144 kg). All my friends have a familly life but not me. Sometimes I cry but sometimes I smile cause I do something for me and I know one day, I cry for another thing but not for my weight. I hate my life sometimes but I love it too cause I've got good moments. And I looking for the good moments.

Try to love your life and you are on the best site if you want to do something good for you. Use the negative for the positive.

stop do not beat yourself up .This will not help you in anyway . Take a pat upon the back for starting sparkpeople . It is a great place to start to change your life . Yes you need to do something to change the way you feel about yourself . Congratulations for starting on Sparkpeople!!! That is a great start. My first week on I just had 2 small goals, exercise at least 10 minutes a day and drink at least 8 cups of water. Now I have been doing the exercise for 5 weeks and usually do more than 10 minutes. Some days it has been hard to make myself do that, but I want to see how long I can maintain the streak. I have always felt better afterward and am starting to feel more energy and pep in my step.
I guess my point is to set a small goal for doing something for your health that you don't currently do, and be proud of yourself each day you do it. I haven't been great at tracking calories yet, but as long as I maintain the exercise and water drinking, I am proud of myself and am building toward success in losing weight and being healthier. I hope to hear in a week that you are still sticking with it.

You are not alone! Hang in there and be kind to yourself. Don't beat yourself up over past mistakes, give yourself credit for taking the time and being motivated to make a difference in your own life!

Welcome to the team! Like Brandyn said, you are in a good place. Fixing up your page and letting people visit it, really is good. I've never had anything bad happen from opening up my page, only good.

Lots of people hate themselves when they come here. And it doesn't happen overnight. Heck. I've been struggling with the same 50-70 pounds for couple three years now. But I keep coming back.

Brandyn is right. It's about the little changes. It's a start! There are teams for people with over 100, 200 lbs. here. You are not alone!

But look at you! You made a step just by coming here. How cool are you???? Really cool!

I'm sorry you are feeling so down right now. I know what it's like to feel uncomfortable in your own skin. After being on SP a little over a year, I can tell you that this site changed my life.

If you set up your sparkpage it can make it easier for people to interact with you. There are many people here who know what you are going through and are willing to support you and need your support.

You might start by picking 2 or 3 small goals for yourself. For example, drinking 8 glasses of water a day, exercise 3x week for 30 minutes and logging your food in the food tracker. Pick goals that are important to you and that will help you to reach your ultimate goal of adding healthy habits. Reading articles and blogs can also help when you are on this journey. Good luck and let us know if you have any questions!

I have joined the site because I hate my life and the fat in it. Do I do anything about it. Not really. I am over 300 lbs and never thought I would see this in my life but here I am. I hate my life. I do have a goal though and thats to learn from all of you how you are losing fat and gaining a life you love. Please help me.
