You can do it!!! 30 lbs isn't bad and guys usually loose easier than women.
Take advantage of the tools here on SP. They are a great asset and best of all its FREE!! No matter what kind of exercise you are comfortable with, just get moving. You have 1,000's of "buddies" here on SP. To a new you!!!

Welcome, Stuart. Most fitness clubs give members a complimentary demo for using the numerous machines so take advantage of it. Losing 30 lbs by June is a decent goal. It's important to track your nutrition and fitness daily and join all the teams that pertain to you. The daily messages are helpful and motivating. SP gives you all the tools that you need and the SP friends that you make give you all the support to help you succeed.

hi i am stuart. i live in new york city hells kitchen near times sq

i am 200 lbs now want to loose 30 lbs and also eat better my cholesterol is borderline high, and that plus the abdominal fat places me in a pre-diabetic state. i know this is totally reversible by diet and exercise.

i have not worked out regularly ever but have had spurts of going to the gym that usually last 6 months.i belong to new york sports club and i like swimming and cycling. dont care for the machines because i dont really know if i am using them right-- its kinda intimidating. treadmill is ok to use

hoping to maybe find some people in new york city (maybe for work out buddies or just general support and comraderie) and also hoping to find "virtual" support here with this amazing online community.

want to stay motivated. my goal for weight loss is 30 lbs by june 2011.

.been tracking for 5 days now. what an eye opener !!seeing what i eat and how it breaks down
