New here and today's my first day. I've had to give up my gym membership due to financial issues so I'm having to find alternative ways to work out. Financial issues are what makes it difficult as those issues keep me working ALL the time because my job is a commission based job so I'm truly hoping I can find the time to do this.

I've stalled in my weight loss because I haven't been able to work out, but I can also say I've not put ON any weight due to this either. I'm maintaining right now and I don't want to keep doing that. I want the size of my pants to keep going down so hopefully this is the key and can help me realize I can fit exercise in my day even with children, homework, work and a husband.

Greetings from South Louisiana! My name is Jennifer and I am looking to get healthy and fit. I live in a culture that lives to eat rather than eats to live. Hello my name is Shaya. I'm 25 years old and have 2 children. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 7 years. We've both let ourselves go over the years but ready to start working towards a healthier happier future. Since our kids are growing to be more active its time that we be more active so we can be in the game and not on the sidelines. I eat healthier then most. My problem isn't eating too much its eating too little. Usually 700 calories a day. Is gonna be tough trying to change it. I joined this team hoping too learn some fun new ways to exercise. Hi all,
I signed up for this but didn't ever really get going. This time it's for real.

I've just agreed to do a charity cycle ride next May (3 days at 60 miles per day) and needed to go out and spend a fortune on a new bike. Now that's spent, I'm definitely doing all I can to get ready or it will have been a waste of money.

This 28-day bootcamp will hopefully help with my weight loss, fitness and stamina.

Hi I'm Chris...This is my first bootcamp workout challenge...I have been a member of SP for at least 2 years I think; however, I still have yet to reach my goal of being in the 130s (currently 180s). Having a heart-to-heart talk with my son last night about his concern that "I am obese" really sparked me back to SP and made me realize I've done too much talking with no action. It's really time for me to get healthy and stop taking steps backwards! Day 1 done! =)

Hi, my name is Kerensa and I just joined the team. I have joined all of the team goals as well. I am 43, diabetic type 2 using Victoza shot for blood sugar control and carb controlled (not low carb) diet. I have been using the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds 1 & 2 mile videos recently but wanted to add something new. This challenge looks interesting and different. My biggest challenge with exercising is my diabetic neuropathy in my feet, which makes any exercise painful when using my feet. I will endure though!

This is my second time doing this challenge. I decided to do this challenge again because I lost the most weight while doing the SparkPeople challenges. With the marriage, my weight has fluctuated quite a bit, and I gained a lot of weight since. My first goal is to get back into my old jeans before the wedding, and then work on my weight goals before I let life distract me. The only thing I am doing differently from last time I did this challenge is that I am doubling up on the work out videos (two on Thursday and two on Friday) so that I don't have to worry about them over the weekend, though my husband still does the cardio potion with me.

Am putting my focus back on my health after a prolonged period of distraction. I'm looking to get my body gradually used to exercising again so I can win back some youth , vitality, and body confidence again.I really need to lose about half my body weight, so I have a long journey ahead. Plan to start with baby steps and build on that to keep momentum going and effect REAL change. Cheers everyone!

Hi! I have been a sparkmember since 2010 and lost 83 lbs in the first 13 months. I have since maintained my loss for 3 yrs and keep trying to get to my goal weight but I have a feeling that nutrition alone is not enough anymore so I am trying the 28 day bootcamp. Yesterday was my first day and I did a 28 min bicycle ride and the 10 min video and feel great. Usually in the afternoon I feel so tired after keeping up with my 2 toddler boys but yesterday I didn't get that afternoon sluggish feeling! Here is to another great day!

Hi! I'm a 60yr young woman on her first day of this challenge. Glad I'm where I need to be--here! Got off track in the last few months and regained a few pounds. Not happy with that, but thrilled to become accountable and have/give support once again. Had a 45 min walk at lunch time and will post again when I've done the video this evening. Although I joined Sparkpeople in 2008, I have not fully utilized the resources provided to reach my goal weight. On my own, the most weight I lost has been about 10 lbs. Like most people, I maintain a busy schedule; I work full-time, attend college full-time, and maintain my home as well. I do not want to make excuses anymore for not taking the time to exercise and learn healthy eating habits. I am self-sufficient and self-motivated in other aspects of my life, but when it comes to diet and exercise, not so much. I joined the 28 Day Bootcamp Workout Challenge because I am tired of losing to the "Battle of the Bulge".

Greetings to all!!!! I'm here because I know what's missing from my life - exercise :( With my 3rd pregnancy a few years ago, I was very dismayed to go over 200lbs and have told myself ever since that I need to get down to a healthy weight. So that's my goal - get it going now so by the time I turn 40 next April, I'll be back in shape.... :)

Hi! I am Corinne and I am going to start a class this fall. So before I do, I am going to do this bootcamp so I can start off on the right foot. I have done Spark People 28 Day Boot Camp By Nichols Nicole Dvd and I loved it. I really like Coach Nicole's workouts. I actually followed the boot camp plan and that is saying a LOT for me. I will do it again;-)

I am going to do this bootcamp. I keep trying to will myself to do it and I need to kick my butt into gear so here I go!

Hi, I'm Becky and Im 22. I'll be starting this challenge on Sunday and go all through July. Maybe even through August too if its working well. I have a short term goal of losing 10 Ibs for a family wedding at the end of August. But I also have a long term goal to lose 50 Ibs by next August. my biggest hurdle is staying on track. I will do really well for about a week and make progress, but then I fall of the wagon and don't hop back on. I'm hoping this planned workout will keep me on track since I know what I will be doing every day.

I'm Rhonda, 48 married with 3 teens. Longtime sparker but have gained constantly since quitting smoking 7 years ago. I am ready to be really healthy (not just an ex smoker). I have a fitbit and am logging 10,000 goal 6 days a week cardio and logging food. Decided 28 day boot camp would be great way to add additional exercise to plan. I have short term and long term goals, bday 9/20 and Christmas. I need to lose 35-40 lbs to reach weight goal. Hurdles so far, portion sizes (mine are double what they say they should be). But before I was paying attention they were triple size, progress.

Hi ya Im Shaz, Im 41 years old and mum to 4 very hyper kids that I'm constantly running around after so I should resemble a very short supermodel by now...but I don't emoticon I managed to get down to 2lbs away from my first goal weight a few years but over the past few years it's crept back on again. I signed up to the team to get back into doing regular exercise - I missed 2 days of the 1st week due to having a houseful of kids over the weekend and I really noticed it today so I need to be doing something - even short bursts - every day. Hi Just joined the challenge today :)) I'm Juli. I live in NC with my son and husband, plus several assorted pets. :) I've lost a lot of weight over the past 4 years, but after back/hip injury have been sidelined for several months. I was VERY upset/depressed/frustrated when I found out I was going to have to sit out for so long and I got into baddd habits. Gained weight.

Now, I have realized that was the totally wrong reaction. Live and learn, eh? :) So I'm here to get back on track and work towards my goal weight! :)

I've lost 28 pounds as a result of two surgeries in the last year, which is great, but I'm healthy(ish) again now and the weight is not going to continue to drop unless I do something about it. So here I am, doing something about it ;)

Hi, I'm Bronwen. I got the Spark Activity Tracker a little over a week ago and I'm using it to jump-start my program. So far, so good. I'm also going to turn 50 in a little over a month and I would really, really like to give myself the present of a better life for the next 50 years.

Hi :) I'm so excited about exercising and getting healthy. I quit smoking at Xmas and gained 23 lbs. I wasn't in great shape since I smoked and couldn't do anything without gasping and choking. So here I am....hoping to get down to my favorite weight of 136 before summer is gone. :)
