Hello! I needed something to push me to workout daily so I thought this would be a great challenge! I hope I'll be able to succeed! 28 days doesn't sound very long but 4 weeks sure does sound like a long time! I haven't been able to workout for more than 2-3 days in a row so this will definitely be a consistency challenge for me!

I originally signed up for this challenge in March - However, I did not come home from our winter vacation unil this past week-end - Sooooo I am starting my Bootcamp workout this week. I'm not sure exactly how this works, or how the tracker works, so I guess I will just tell you what I did.
Monday - 30 minutes on the treadmill and 10 min strength training video
Tuesday (today) 30 minutes Strengh Training/Cardio video combo and 30 min. on the treadmill
I did not record any of these on my "activity" page because I thought the Tracker did that. However, should I at least be recording the Strengh Training sessions??????
Since I have been out of sync with exercising for the 6 mos. I was in Florida, I'm starting my steps out slowly - 6,000 per day. Yesterday I only did a little over 4,100 but today I did just over 7,000. Yea.
Please advise if I am not doing and/or recording this correctly. Thank you.

I have 38 days until my first trip to Vegas which gives me a 10 day cushion. There are 238 days until I hit my goal weight. (Well, that's the plan)

I've been consistent in my daily fitness in a very treadmill kind of way. Now that I've shown myself consistency it's time to bump up intensity.

Hi Everyone! I'm Miranda. I will be 41 on Monday. I first joined this challenge in Oct 2012 but I hurt my back and had to stop. I've noticed that I don't feel good about myself and that is because I am not strong or agile. The last time I felt good was when I was doing SP so I'm back and committed to taking care of myself by daily intentional movement, motivation, and healthy eating choices.

I'm on W1:D2 of the challenge. I'm off to walk outside in the beautiful sunshine. Happy Saturday!!!

Spring has finally sprung in the south east and I am ready to jump into a new challenge! I have been hypernating most of the winter and have put on 10 lbs. Hi, I'm Pam. I have lost 52.6 lbs thus far and I have been able to keep those pounds off for over a year but I am not "done yet". I have 114.6 lbs. left to go. My reason for losing weight is "it's personal" (meaning I just hate doing anything half-way), I too need to lose the remainder of the weight to realize some important health benefits and my best support is my hubby, Paul.

Hello my name is Sheila, I joined SparkPeople years ago and had great success however over the years I let myself go and not only have I gained all my weight back I also added an additional 30 pounds. I've never really participated in a team so I am hoping this gives me the motivation that I need. I always use the excuse that I don't have time to exercise because for the last 8 years I have worked 7 days a week with hardly no days off. Working 65 - 70 hours a week takes a lot out of you and it is exhausting. But I am tired of using that as an excuse and I am tired of feeling bad all of the time. I am tired of feeling bad about myself It's time to take charge and do something to make me feel better!!

Hello! I have decided to really step up my weight loss. To do that, well I need more inspiration that some. So Challenges work well for me. I'm going to do this! I pledge to do 10 minutes of cardio outside of my work (I lead a seated, low impact 30 minute exercise program as part of my job), and I'm going to try to get 12,000 steps a day instead of just 10,000. Here's to success!

Hello, my name is Rhiannon and I'm looking make health and fitness part of my life. I'm really trying to be present this month and make each day, each moment, count. The future is bright and I don't want to be stuck in a rut anymore. That is going to require some hard, sweaty work and even more difficult decisions at the grocery store. I plan on being active every day of March and can't wait to get started! Today included some Jillian Michaels and Michael Jackson tunes, tomorrow is wedding dress shopping (which is daunting for anyone trying to lose weight). Hi. I'm Flo a 64 year old retired nurse with arthritis in my back and knees. I joined Spark people in January and have lost 25 pounds so far. I STARTED not able to get through 15 minutes of exercising to now doing 2-3 hours of WII advanced step, bowling and tennis. I am getting bored with those so I bought Coach Nicoles 28 day boot camp workout. I watched the whole video and think its doable. I love that they have modified the exercises for those who need it. I need to get some hand weights and I will be ready to try it. I think I need the challenge of a team to keep me going.

Hello! I'm Kathleen. I've been on SP for 8 year now (wow..crazy!). Lately I have gotten pretty (ok..very) lazy in terms of exercise. And my eating is pretty terrible. I graze and skip meals.

I leave for Barbados on May 13 (heading down there for a week) and I want to feel more comfortable in my bathing suit. So I have joined this challenge in an effort to reintroduce small, regular bouts of exercise into my day. And hopefully firm up some of this flab. :)

I'm Terri. I've been a SparkPeople member for almost 7 years. My exercise routine needed to be bumped up but didn't know what to do, so on December 27th, 2013, I decided to get more serious. The month of January I did the Fit, Firm & Fired Up DVD. Now, I decided to commit to the 28 day boot camp and change up what I was doing. I am trying to stick with this for the third time. I am glad to see that others suffer through the same hectic schedule and occasionally get off track. I have the best of intentions, but my other priorities seem to max me out before I think about myself. Today I am putting a stop to it. I do these bootcamp videos by Day and only ever seem to make it to Day 3 before I drop off, put all my weight back on and get motivated a couple of months later. My goal is to become consistent with exercise and enjoy it in the process. I am really not sure that I can keep up with these exercises, but I will try my best anyway. I checked out the challenge site. I decided to start the Squat Circuit Challenge today. You end up doing 200 Squats in 4 weeks. Good for you on your Challenge your up to 110 Squats. How are the thighs??? Very proud of your motivation. Keep it up :)

My other weightloss projects are 30 day challenges.com this website is good for helping you tone up your body by doing a certain amount of exercises for 30 days check it out its cool. I am currently doing the 30 day squat challenge now and I'm on day 16 which is a rest day today that is why I joined this challenge to give me a better routine to reach my goal faster

Hi,

I just keep tracking what I eat, even if it was bad. I just started the 28 day Bootcamp workout challenge. I am on day 5. I have a Sparktracker and that keeps me motivated to get in a minimum of 6000 steps, I like that little device. I drink a lot of water. Weight is coming off very slow, but I have been able to get into a smaller size. Motivation is not my strong point but I am going to keep it up. I keep reading everyone else can lose at least 50 pounds in 6 months so why cant I. You up for a extra little challenge and support. I am there for you. If you have any great ideas please share.

Hi, My name is Shari. I am 52 and I am challenging myself to complete this 28- day Bootcamp workout. I figured there is 28 days in Feb so what a good time to start. I have been working on walking 6000 steps a day and riding my bike for a half hour. I really want to lose 50 pounds. Little steps will hopefully get you there.

Hi Bootcampers!

My name is Susan, I'm 41 (for a few more days), from California (originally NJ) and I'm adding Spark back into my life, it's worked before and I know it will work again. I joined this challenge to push me a bit more and to motivate me and keep me accountable.

Hello, My name is Sherilyn. I'm 54 years old, 2 grown children. 5 grandchildren, 3 of which live with me. 6 years ago I lost 60 pounds using walking away the pounds and sparkpeople. I put all that weight back on. Now I'm back to loose it again. I started right before Thanksgiving and have lost 21 pounds so far. I plan on getting back to 150. I own 8 of Leslie's disc. my birthday is Oct. 19. My strenght is that when I finally make up my mind to do something I don't stop till I get what I want. My weakness is my family and loved ones. I seam to have this bad habit of doing everything for them and forget about myself. I loose myself in their needs. I am trying to retrain myself to stop forgetting about me. My motivation is my health. I need to get healthy for my grandchildren and myself.

Hi! My name is Shirnest. This is a reintroduction. I did this challenge in late 2011. I am an educator and performer. I strayed away from my healthy habits and gained half of the weight I lost. I plan to be in the ball park of my ideal weight by my birthday in May. I dance and play wiifit for my fitness program. I like to play when I exercise. Hello. My name is Jessica and I am a 35 year old mother of 2 children ages 10 and 14. I am ready to begin this bootcamp workout challenge. I am currently 5'8 195lbs. My goal weight is 170 by May 2014. But weight is not as important to me as just being fit, having energy and feeling good from the inside out. I realize that I just have this one body and just like a car needs maintenance and tune ups to keep running, my body needs daily exercise and healthy food to run right and last long. I quit smoking on January 2, 2014 and have had zero slip ups so far. I know that when most people quit they put on some weight so I am using exercise to replace those cravings. My fitness goal is to workout daily and establish a routine that is easy to incorporate into my busy life. I would like to I am starting to eat cleaner and plan on having a completely clean eating lifestyle by May by slowly weeding the unclean stuff out. I have tried several fad diets that result in short term results that end up hurting me in the long run. I know now its about a lifestyle change. I thought joining this challenge would be great for me because I am being held accountable for my choices not just by myself but by my team. I would like to find a spark buddy to team up with and complete these challenges as well. Good luck to everyone and remember your body is beautiful no matter what but wouldn't you rather it be beautiful and fit so you can be around for a long, long time.

Hello, my name is Marie. My current goal is to work out for 100 days straight. I'm exercising first thing in the morning and I'm currently on day 3. My weight loss goal is 40 lbs by November 2014.

I don't have a gym membership, because I have everything I need to start my journey at home. So far I have been doing a 5 minute warm up, then two 10 minute spark videos including one from this Bootcamp challenge using our TV in the living room. In addition I do weight strength training 3-4 days a week, using resistance bands and dumbells.

I also love cycling on my road bike and will hopefully be adding 2 rides a week to my routine this week. Other than that, I take the stairs instead of the elevator when I can and I tend to dance when I'm cleaning. :) Throughout the work day I take small walks and make sure to not be sitting for more than 2 hours straight if I can help it. And I chug lots of water!
