It's never too late to be healthy, I wish you the best of luck!
The after dinner snacking used to be difficult especially when I saw my teenager eating chips or ice cream (she doesn't have a weight problem)
I broke the habit by making the commitment of NO eating after 7:30pm OR only eating a crunchy vegetable or a handful of unsalted nuts if I must eat something to satisfy a craving or go for a quick walk. (I love crunchy food!) emoticon

Move more, eat less, move more, eat less....

Johnsfamily, Thank You for being here for all of us too. Your story sounds exactly like mine. 3rd time for me too. Sweet tooth really doesn't say it all, doe's it? The night is especially hard time for me also. I have so many good wishes for you to make it this time.

Thank You, Lil I did do it though, that's what's so terrific about only 10 min. we all can do it. Will be up there again today. This process has been ongoing since January. The ladies at the church my dad went to are wonderful, they have helped us so much. I can't give them enough praise, and they are older, boy can they go!!

Welcome back! Please do not be too hard on yourself, you are special, just be determined and don't worry if you fail sometimes, we all do. The important thing is to start again. emoticon emoticon

Haven't done today's 10 min. yet. But yesterday was a hard day, cleaning out over 20years worth of "stuff" from my dad's lake house. First my Mom and then after her death a step mom. He was 94 when he died, I'm 60 now and it's not easy. They lived in the Texas hill country. Although lake front property, a house, a mobile and outdoor kitchen, and numerous out buildings. The lake was closer than the dumpster we rented. Up and down, time after time to the large dumpster. I will make today's that's what the challenge is all about.

Welcome back! I also enjoy a sweet snack at night, so I just make sure I leave "save up" some extra calories for it throughout the day. I also try to make sure it has some nutritional value like peanut butter and banana or apple. Just a suggestion. Good luck reaching your goals!

Great for re-joining. I also have a huge tendency to fail. So I am in this again as well. Good luck to you

Im joining for the 3rd time. I suffer with arhtritis and depression. I love healthy foods but also crave junk foods. Haven't met many foods I don't like. I gained 10 pounds over the winter months eating what my kids eat and staying inside during bad weather. Quite the bummer as I had been the same weight for almost ten years and was not satisfied but comfortable with it. Staying on track is quite the challenge especially at night when I'm used to having a sweet snack before bed.
