Hi Cheri, and welcome. You certainly have come to the right place for motivation and support. I have only been with SparkPeople for a few months, but it has changed my way of thinking about my health, weight, activity, and my relationship with food. I am a dietitian by trade, but have found that even with all I "know" about diet and health, there is nothing like moral support and friendship to help you find you way and stay on track.
It is good to hear that you have put YOU at the top of your list of priorities. I think you will find your whole family thanks you for it! As you become a better you, you will become a better mother, friend, wife, etc.
