to the team. It's hard to be fit for some time then have a health issue that throws you for a loop. There are alot of groups here and plenty of people in your shoes. Good to see that 1st step. Hoping for continued success in your journey.
He everyone I am new here, as the topic states lol.
My name is Laura, I am a stay at home mom of a 5-year old boy, and soon to be step-mom of 5-year old, and 2-year old girls.
I use to do fitness modelling, I ended up diagnosed with many things 2 years ago, and some of the meds made me gain weight, and become uninterested in how I was, a sequence of events made this happen as well.
I am now ready and motivated to do it again, realized starting small is where I need to be.
Since joining yesterday I have added a few things to my daily routine, like extra exercises. I walk everyday for 30 mins taking my son to school and back.
Here is to getting back to how I was, thats a few pant sizes to say the least.
FYI, I hardly ever look at the scale lol, I go by how I feel and what clothes fit.
