Greetings from Las Vegas. I'm Amethyst and I have been a member of Spark People for three years. I have had my ups and downs, but this is the best program I have ever used in my long history of trying to lose weight.
Thanks to a little war with cancer(and winning!)I have lost a lot of weight. Now it's just about 8 weeks since my final chemo and once my appetite started coming back and I could actually taste things again, as well as celebrating being cancer free, I put 16 pounds back on. I have no regrets over the gain, however I refuse to regain any more. It is one of the gifts being ill gave me and I am NOT going to waste it!
I started exercising last week and learned the hard way that my energy/stamina does not match how very good I am feeling. Which makes sense since I was laid up for six months. I'm frustrated! I think I should be energy/stamina wise where I was before I got sick. Silly me!
Anywho,I have lost 7 of the 16 pounds I gained back and by pure serendipity found this team. 10 minutes at a time, I can do!

Hi, I am Fran, from Wisconsin.
We have two grown children and am expecting our second grandchild in July.
I want to be more consistent with my daily exercise. My goal is to back to 140# and maintain. Hoping this will also reduce my cholestrol levels. I have lost fifty pounds, and now am trying to lose those last, stubborn 10 pounds.
I just got word that my Mum past away this past Sunday afternoon. Thank goodness family was with her. The funeral will be on Wed.

Hi, I'm Monika. I joined this challenge a few days ago. It is helping! I tend to exercise really well some days and then do nothing for several days. I want to be consistent. This 10 minute challenge is a great idea. The last few days were very, very busy. I don't think I would have done any exercise if not for this challenge. I only got in about 15 minutes tops, but I did it! I met my goal of at least 10 minutes and that feels so good!

I'm Roodie =) I joined SparkPeople just over a month ago. I really like the way challenges keep me motivated and give me something else to track (I'm getting addicted to tracking stuff ~ LOL).
This challenge will help me add stretching to my morning routine, which I think will really get my day started off better ~ I've never been much of a morning person, takes me almost 2 hrs to get my motor revving, if ya know what I mean.

I'm Jamie and I need a doable challenge that I won't get frustrated with. Since the beginning of April, I have not been tracking goals, food, exercise, etc. as I should or even exercising consistently. This will be my new start. Now, I am getting OFF the computer and going to go walk for at least 10 min!!
Every day is a gift from God. What will you do with your "present"?
This is the perfect way to start exercising again. I look forward to completing this journey with everyone.

Hi! My name is Lori, and I am a HUGE fan of Coach Nicole's! I just joined the bootcamp June 1st, and yesterday had a ligament snap in my foot! So, reluctantly, I took myself out of the bootcamp team this time. THEN, a friend suggested THIS team! I can DO this! And, lo and behold, Coach Nicole leads it!
I hope to be upbeat about this injury, and by keeping a positive attitude, staying as active as I can with this challenge, I feel super better already!

Hi team!! I'm Kennie and I joined this team because I had been working out regularly for months, but my life was thrown out of wack in May. Things have settled down a great deal now, so I'm ready to get back in the swing of things. I think committing to small 10 minute chunks of exercise would be less overwhelming than the "Go big or go home" attitude that I usually take (bad, I know!) so let's do it!

Why I joined this 10 minute daily exercise team, well today I restarted MY COMMITTMENT to a healthy lifestyle and a healthier me. I'm tired of taking 2 steps forward and 1 step back, it's time to get moving in the right direction, making WISER choices in both my foods and intentional exercise!! I've learned so much but I am still having issues with self sabbatoge, not making time for myself, and negative thinking. I have reset my goals on Sparkpeople and want to be able to do my best, learn from past experiences and GET R DONE, one pound, one step, one day at a time. I want to be around for my husband, my children and my grandchildren as long as I can be and be healthy too, so I can do things that they like to and want to do. I can do it and I can be successful in keeping off these extra pounds. I just turned 50 in April and I still have, in my eyes, a long way to go before I am healthy and fit. I've been a member of Sparkpeople almost 2 1/2 years.
I will do what I can with what I have for Jesus sake Today.

I had been doing my own 10 minute streak for several months this year, but need a boost to get it started again!
My name is Tami. I am 35 years old with many health problems; arthrits and depression and too many meds that affect my daily life. I love the Sparkpeople 10 minute workouts. I bought The Cardio Blast on DVD and am doing the 7 day Bootcamp workouts from You Tube.
I joined the team because I need more of a boost to do even 10 minutes a day. Most days I am able to workoutb but the arthritis and depression sometimes hold me back.
