Hello! My name is Donna. I am so glad I found this challenge! I have got my nutrition down but I am really bad at exercising. This might sound a bit childish, but I LOVE working for the Spark Points and trophies! It makes it fun while I am making good choices for myself.

It is very important to me that I improve my health and I need to start incorporating more exercise into my daily routines. Being a part of this challenge will help me get into a routine and I am looking forward to that.

Hello,
my names Christina. i joined Sparkpeople a couple years back. When i kept going with it i lost a good amount of weight. But some family things came up and I fell off track. Well today I am starting up again. I am going to complete this challenege to get me back on track and hopefully be able to stay motivated to reach my goals and than keep me at those goals after that. My only downfall is I do not always stay on track sometimes. It is hard to stay motivated everyday, but I hope with the help from everyone here at sparkpeople as well as myself I can get to the place I wanna be at.

Hi I am new to the challenge been real lazy on my exercise my main problem is the motivation it starts off good then I get bore easy and drop everything ..but I need to move

I joined this challenge to try to get in the habit of exercising regularly and to set my first goal that is actually reachable in the near future. They say it takes 30 days to make something into a habit so once I can make it 30 days of at least ten mins every day than I can start adding more mins.

I usually have time at home to do exercising but as soon as I step through the door I lose motivation. I am going to try and squeeze my 10 minutes in the morning as I have more energy then.

ANGELEYES: If your patient(s) nap during the day, maybe you can sneak in some exercise then--step in place, do some seated exercises (search this site for some), something simple . . . that's what I have to do some days. I am my mother's primary caregiver, so some days I can take an actual walk while someone is visiting her, but lots of days I just catch ten minutes of exercise here and there during her naps. Hello,

I am new to this team and challenge...not new to Sparkpeople.

This challenge will be great for me as I am an in-home caregiver and I work sometimes 11 to 12 hours a day. I have seen my weight creep up again and I hate it. My exercise has been nill lately. Mostly I feel like if I can't workout an hour or more like my friends then why try. But I just need to start..and 10 min a day is a good way to get going. I like seeing how many days in a row I can do things...so here I go.

Today I walked 30 min but it was my one day off during the week..yup I work 6 days a week and I get tired...but that is no excuse. I need to be healthy to be able to work.

Hello Sparkers!

My name is Lauren and I have been on Sparkpeople for a few years but did not become active on the site until recently. Even though things have been pretty hectic in life I made the decision to stop ignoring my weight because life would never stop being busy! I came across the 10-minute daily exercise streak challenge while browsing the site and I thought it was a perfectly reasonable goal and look forward to sticking to it. My first day, I did a small amount of exercise (currently moving) but then I just laid on the couch like a log! I definitely look forward to chatting with some of you to learn more about your tips and tricks to keeping your goals. I am 25 and on the East Coast. In the current city I am located, most people my age are still hitting up the bars and fawning over the opposite sex. I love that I can come to Sparkpeople at the end of the day for genuine encouragement and connection for this aspect of my life.

Hi my name is Michelle. I joined this team because I want to make daily focused exercise a habit. I am trying to get more steps in my day in general, but I also want to do some type of daily exercise as well. This team is just what I need to get going!
