Hello team, I was on here before but left Spark people for awhile and returned. Although I do not dance for a living anymore, I still enjoy dancing around the house for fitness and fun. I'm fairy new to ATS style myself and found it by accident when I showed up for what I thought was arabic (eastern) style belly dance and it was an ATS class.

Hello! My daughter (jsut turned 18) and I started taking classes around 3 yrs ago in Utah and have taken some off and on since then- I am drawn to tribal fusion most, and though I don't feel I'm any good at the dancing- I DO love it! Unfortunately, since we moved to NM I can't seem to find any teachers here-every time I find one...turns out she has moved out of the state : / I'm just wanting to dance and feeling frustrated because I have no motivation to do it on my own at home...it's just not the same as being in a class. Anyhow, just thought I'd say hello and hopefully find my motivation ;)
I am totally new to belly dancing - have only had 2 classes now through my local YMCA! My teacher is ATS certified and more! She's fun to learn from and she teaches really well so I'm looking forward to going to class every week!!
It feels so good to be doing something fun and different and know I'm helping make a difference in my body at the same time :-)

I saw your team (made just yesterday, lucky me) and figured I'd have a go! Like I said, I haven't tried Tribal yet, but I've seen a lot of videos on you tube. Hopefully, I'm going to get a couple of instructional DVDs for my birthday.
