I have the same problem it is difficult to make time for everything. As long as we keep trying, we are doing something. That is better than doing nothing. I sell my products at festivals & craft shows, This is my slow season trying to get ahead on making my product. I still have embroidery orders to do and thinking of making purses for sale.
Along with watching my grandchildren when they cancel school here in sowthwest Michigan, which has been alot this year.

I've had a crazy few days! Sunday was the last time I was able to sit down at my computer. I've been trying to get as much of 2013 loose threads tied off! Plus the day to day stuff! Sunday will be the start of a new week! Looking forward to moving forward!

Are you still working on your sewing skills? Hope so.
I am trying to revive this team's page. Check back with us soon. I'll try and have some ideas for motivation and support pulled together over the next week or "sew"! emoticon

Happy to have you here!
Together we can generate some life in this team, and support for our fellow sewistas/crafters! Currently working on some unfinished projects I started before Christmas. I need to get them out of the way before starting on new curtains for our camper.
Fitting so much into our lives sometimes takes the focus off our own health. I find the SP website and pages very helpful to maintain that focus.

Hi :) I am Just Peachy Designs. have been with SP for quite some time but need to get serious about getting fit. I am almost 60, need to loose about 50 lbs. I have a strong family history of obesity, high blood pressure, arthritis & type 2 diabetes.
I designed and make bottle cozies. My husband and I sell them at craft shows, festivals and county fairs. I also do machine embroidery & general sewing, crocheting and other crafts.
I am interested in knowing others who love sewing & that are managing a home business, exercise and a family life.

Hi Everyone! This is not my first time with sparkpeople. I am 53 years old, living with the LOML, enjoying a second chance at life. Together we have 5 children, and 15 grandchildren! It can be pretty noisy at our house! :)
I have been sewing since I was a girl, and have my own sewing business I operate out of my home. Sewing helps me save money at Christmas, relieve stress, and keep my wardrobe up to date.
I'd love to know what everyone else is doing; sewing projects etc...

Hi, I'm new to this group....Hello! anyone home?

I've taken a few sewing classes lately at my local community college, tailoring, couture sewing etc, lucky me, but haven't really sewn much. It's hard to be motivated to hand sew finished on something that you just hope needs to be taken in soon so I waited to get back to a normal size. But, that didn't happen. Lots of reasons and I won't be hard on myself.

Today, a new approach. My sewing skills are rusty but I have a stash of fabric so I'm going to start sewing a simple wardrobe to brush up on my skills WHILE I lose weight.

I'd love to hear about anyone else's sewing projects too.

Lisa - I've got Kummerspeck! (grief-bacon)

Hi Everyone - I'm new to your team. I've been on Spark for a little over 2 months and love it. I've lost 15 lbs and 9 inches and am doing great! I live in San Diego, and our Team San Diego has had 2 rallies where we've met each other and gone for hikes or runs and its been just great!!
I love to sew, am in a sewing class right now at the local extended studies center from the community college. I've been sewing since 7th grade and enjoy making many of my own clothes.

Still learning my way around SP but loving it so far. I love to sew and have been doing so since I was 13. I had a rare great Home Ec teacher - no one in my family sews. I'm mom to three teens and just going back to work after years as an at home mom. I will be working part time in the schools as a substitute para/aide. So my big challenge will be making time to take care of myself in the midst of it all.
