Jennie and to the team. CONGRATS on the weight loss!! Keep it going. Some of your history matches mine so it is easy to see where you are coming from!! Take it one day at a time and you will make you long term goal. Set short, doable goals to get there.
Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner. Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.

on the six pounds, it's a good start--though the price was a little high! LOL
Hopefully you can get the rest of the job done without any more ER visits... and we're all here to cheer you on! Welcome aboard, Jennie!
"The real secret of success is enthusiasm..." thanks, Walter P. Chrysler. I believe it. That's what I want in my life--to give my imagination a chance, to live with energy and enthusiasm! P.S. I looked up enthusiasm, and it says the root words mean God within... interesting...!
Ralph Waldo Emerson said 'Life belongs to the energetic.' But you don't have to be frenetic and hyper--some energy is quiet and steady, like a heartbeat... and that works too! LOL
Welcome aboard Jennie. I know where you are coming from. I have walked that same mile in your shoes. I hope you enjoy being with this group and with SP. It is a great place to be when you have to lose weight. The supports are great.
Hi! My name is Jennie. I am the stay at home mom to 3 amazing kids. Been married 20 years in March.
I was diagnosed with fibro 6 1/2 years. I also have arthritis and was recently diagnosed with diabetes, neuropathy in my feet and high blood pressure. The doctors have me on a heart healthy diabetic diet. I found out about my high blood pressure when I almost passed out in a store and I had to be rushed to the hospital. The doctor said that my pressure was so high I could have had a heart attack or stroke. Needless to say that scared me to death. 3 days in the hospital :-(
I went to the gym last night for the first time in my life. I weighed myself and I have lost 6 pounds since I was rushed to the hospital. I still have 97 pounds more to lose. But I am determined.
