Welcome! You've come to the right place. The concept of this site is help, support, and learning a new way to view food and eating. I've never been successful with weight loss before. I've learned to be accountable to myself and to be honest with myself about the food I eat, and it's working. Even on days like today, when my best plans for food for the day goes out the window, I find I'm still conscious of what I'm eating and able to get back on track without beating myself up over it. Honestly, I'm still astonished at the success I'm experiencing!
I like to keep a couple of things in mind: weight lost slowly tends to stay off better than when it's lost quickly; and a bit of advice I read on this site, that some days you need to take things one choice at a time.
