My published poems are 'out of print' I think--I first published them online at Poetry.com, where I was constantly winning those Editor's Choice awards--a promoter's gimick, I think... but one particular poem was published in an audio book for the hearing impaired... and my novel is about 7 yrs and 500 pages long now, with maybe two chapters to go--but I'm dealing with a major block--not to mention LIFE! LOL
I've written speeches, not sermons... and I've done research papers etc for college, but I don't really count those...
Sounds like you and I have a few things in common! LOL
A few of my poems are incorporated into my blogs... if you're interested, check it out! I'd enjoy seeing what YOU do...
"The real secret of success is enthusiasm..." thanks, Walter P. Chrysler. I believe it. That's what I want in my life--to give my imagination a chance, to live with energy and enthusiasm!
Ralph Waldo Emerson said 'Life belongs to the energetic.' But you don't have to be frenetic and hyper--some energy is quiet and steady, like a heartbeat... and that works too! LOL

My most recent published book was poetry. I am always percolating a poem or two. Currently, I am working on a novel that is making my head explode this week. I also write sermons, meditations and some nonfiction, as requested.
I am dragging some today because we got up at 4:3O a.m. to watch the launch of the Spacex Dragon Capsule which was aborted after the engines were ignited. We live just far enough away that we heard via radio that the lauch was aborted about 2O seconds before the sounds of the engines igniting reached us. This is too bad for a lot of reasons, not the least of which being it was a clear and only slightly breezy night, so the launch would have been gorgeous to see. The next possible attempt will be Tuesday morning just before 4. Anyway, I went back to bed til just past 1O a.m. and we went out for a late brunch. Now home and considering my options for the day.
I am a tad stiff and swollen because I took medicine late so it will be a couple hours before I feel like doing much of anything. Then, IF the weather holds and I perk up some, I'd like to have an outing to the beach for water walking under the sun. I also need to do some actual work today. Blech. Not really in the mood for writing but it must be faced.
