You're smart to try and avoid too much stuff at the movies--I've found it much more effective myself to just eat before I go, and buy a bottle of water when I get there. I have learned that I shouldn't eat and try to do something else. It's what is called "automatic eating", and I end up with a lot more in my mouth than belongs there--probably because I'm not paying attention to the food! LOL
Concentrating on doing just one thing at a time... a difficult and hard-learned lesson for a major type A, chronic overbooker and accomplished multi-tasker... but there are definite advantages to doing just one thing at a time. Yesterday was fabulous and today is looking good too, even though I did not hear my alarm go off and overslept by 2 hours. There are worse things than getting some extra sleep, I think. I have had a decent breakfast and done my stretches, started some chores. Today will include a bike ride, some water aerobics and water jogging, coffeee with a gal pal, and a date tonight with my partner. I think we might see a movie so this will be an opportunity NOT to order the large popcorn and soda pop. For me a movie is not a movie without popcorn and candy. I will sneak in my own candy, smaller quantity and better than what you can buy there and will order the senior citizens' size popcorn and drink. Will get water for the drink. It will be plenty to satisy my movie fix without throwing the whole day's nutrition into chaos.
