I believe you will! emoticon

"The real secret of success is enthusiasm..." thanks, Walter P. Chrysler. I believe it. That's what I want in my life--to give my imagination a chance, to live with energy and enthusiasm!

Ralph Waldo Emerson said 'Life belongs to the energetic.' But you don't have to be frenetic and hyper--some energy is quiet and steady, like a heartbeat... and that works too! LOL

Life comes in specific increments, which we receive as a gift of one moment at a time. That's why it's called

Kathy,

Thanks so much for the words of wisdom and encouragement. It's a never-ending journey, but I'll figure out the path with some help.

Sounds SO familiar. You are just like me, I used to be a dancer, and I have had to get used to the idea that there's a difference between 100% NOW and 100% THEN... NOW, 100% is how much I can do without damaging myself, because unlike then, I DON'T BOUNCE BACK! LOL

Start slow, m'dear, or you know what happens: CRASH AND BURN! And REMEMBER, stretching a tight muscle is uncomfortable, but it shouldn't be an active or sharp pain. There really is no such thing as "no pain, no gain". The people who tell you that?

THEY'RE LYING--AND MOST OF THE TIME, THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW IT!

Join the discussions, and you'll find all kinds of great tips and folks who can help you explore your new adventures, and find your limits--so you can stretch those too, but without breaking them!

Welcome aboard!

Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching and NEVER fry bacon naked!

You are successful the moment you start moving toward a worthwhile goal.

Hi all! I am 31, have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for approximately 3 and a half years, and am now living gluten free. I'm not currently happy with my meds for fibro, but I keep coming back to the idea that if there was less of me, there would be less of me to hurt.

I'm looking to lose about 30 lbs, but I'm having some difficulty with working out. I used to be a college athlete, and am used to working out HARD. It is very difficult for me to go to the gym and not put 100% effort in. Of course, that leads to lots of couch time a day or two later.

My rheumatologist wants me to do yoga 2-3 times a week. Not sure where I can find the time with my schedule... which is part of the reason I'm looking for a new job.

I'm sick of this melancholy cloud I've been in. It has to change.
