You can do it, one habit at a time and one step at a time. We are here to support each other!

Here's someone I think you should "meet"... she's BEEN where you are... and she is amazing.

Of course, you're welcome HERE too, as often as you want to post! LOL

WE're glad to have you...

"The real secret of success is enthusiasm..." thanks, Walter P. Chrysler. I believe it. That's what I want in my life--to give my imagination a chance, to live with energy and enthusiasm!

Ralph Waldo Emerson said 'Life belongs to the energetic.' But you don't have to be frenetic and hyper--some energy is quiet and steady, like a heartbeat... and that works too! LOL

Life comes in specific increments, which we receive as a gift of one moment at a time. That's why it's called

emoticon Sue and emoticon to a wonderful team!! We are very supportive and will help you any way we can. Use the food tracker daily and try to stay in your calorie range. Did you know just beginning a 5 minute walking program in your house, around in circles or marching in place. Make several trips to put things away instead of taking as much as you can in one trip. If you have the VERA channel on your TV, they have chair exercises and yoga that is fairly easy. Hope these suggestions can help. You CAN do it!! Keep in contact with us. IT is well know the more active you are on the site, the more weight you can lose due to the wonderful support of te team!!

Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner.
Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.

I have just joined this today because I really need a lot of help to get a lot of weight off. I am 59 years old and I weigh 425, so you see I am at a very dangerous stage right now. I have tried to get the bariatric surgery at many places but have been turned because of my weight or my addictive personality as they say orother reasons, so I guess I need to do it this way, if I can, cuz I really feel if I don`t I won`t be around much longer.
I am not a very organized person at all so keeping track of calories and such is very tough for me, but I need to try. I am also quite disabled and am unable to walk very well so exercise is very hard for me too. so I would love to get some suggestions, and I would love to get some easy recipes that are not so fattening...so here I am.
Sue
