Welcome to the group! I'm new to this group as well, and I really like it so far. There are a lot of helpful people here. In order to suggest things, it would help to know more about you and your symptoms. Are you taking any medications or supplements for FM symptoms? Do you pace yourself? Use timers to make sure you take frequent breaks when you're up (and to make yourself get up and move)? Do you volunteer? What kinds of distractions do you use? Does your body have a "schedule" of any kind? Mine has mostly settled into one...I'm 'ok' Sunday through Wednesday, my pain level about doubles on Thursday and is much worse on Friday...Saturdays can go either way. My pain level doubles between 2 & 3 in the afternoon and gets progressively worse until I go to bed, so I'm rarely out of the house after 3 or 4.
Hello Everyone. I am new to this site and this group. I don't know very much about fibro except what my own experience has been for the last 2 years. It has been horrible and the only type of exercise I can tolerate is water therapy. I do have a YMCA membership and they have a special pool called "The Well" which is 11 feet deep and that is warm and it works really well for me to work with my body otherwise I don't have any other options realistically. I do strech at home every day of course I would be bed ridden if I didn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
