Hi, Welcome to the team. Taking it slow and easy at first. It well help if you can find someone to help you, a physical therapist or a trainer that is understanding. Walking is a good place to start if you do not have access to a gym.
Start slow, take baby steps... lots of stretching once the muscles are warm... and water aerobics if you can...
It's a kind of game I play with myself, the trick is walking a line between doing enough to make a difference and doing enough to set you back a week! LOL
You can find that balance though, and we'll help however we can--

Hi, I've just joined SparkPeople and I'm glad there is a forum for people with fibro. I've been diagnosed for a while and I am hoping that by exercising regularly and losing some weight I will be able to manage my fibro better. Are there any tips that anyone would like to share about exercise or diet things on SparkPeople that have been especially helpful? Thanks for any information you are willing to share
