My trouble spots are getting enough protein and fiber, and exercise. The forums can be great for motivation, as long as you don't spend too long at the computer! My main problem is getting sucked into the computer and I wonder where my day has gone. :P

I've had the completely opposite problem! I've been great with getting out and getting active, but my food choices aren't so great. I always decide what I want before I go into a restaurant and when I get in there I crumble and get something I know I shouldn't! Frustrating. I have lost 3 lbs already but I'm looking to drop 30 so I have to get busy and make good choices.
Hi. My name is Heath, I'm a 60-year-old woman who feels more like 40-something, and I currently live in Gainesville, Florida, pining for my Pacific Northwest home. I've been using the SparkPeople website for just over two weeks now, and I can see that it is helping me make good decisions each day when it comes to choosing and enjoying the food I eat. I haven't been as successful in getting moving on any fitness goals, or even being more active. I'm dealing with some (hopefully minor) health issues now, and when I am feeling better I hope I'll want to walk, swim, and stretch more for starters. I am wondering if being more active with the Spark community will make a difference in attaining my health and fitness goals.
