I have one of those 'pre-teen' 10 year old boys too. Today I went to pick him and his sister up from school and he wouldn't even look me in the eye when his friends were around. At least at home he still likes hugs!
I jointed this spark thing recently as well. My motivator is that I'm over 40 and tired of a) not having the energy level I want, and b) tired of looking at my mid section and wondering why my pants don't fit.
I figure if I can do this, you can do this! As they say all we need to do is focus on one small success at a time. You CAN do it ... what ever IT is.
Hello everyone!! I am a 33 year old, single mother of a wonderful 10yr old boy or "pre-teen" as he likes to say! My life has only been about him since his father and I split and I have not really taken the time to care for myself. I feel now that he has become a little more independent I should take advantage of it and get my butt back in shape! I have horrible habits that need to be changed asap as I'm not getting any younger. I joined this site through a friendsí suggestion, her sister is on here and loves that you are able to set and track your goals. My only concern is that I hate being on the computer due to the fact that I sit in front of one for 9 hrs of the day for work. Well that is about it for now, I would love to hear from anyone with some suggestions to help motivate me off the couch. :)
