Hello everyone out there in internet land. I am a 30 year old woman with a 31 yr old husband and a 3 yr old daughter. I never really was bad about spending money I didn't have, and never got a credit card, however things changed when I got married. My husband and I have one credit card that we share and use for emergencies only.Like when my then 18 month old daughter was hospitalized and we had no money. I realized after getting a bill that was MORE then our car was (which we should have saved up for but our car had died and would have cost the same as getting the new car to get fix we traded for a better deal), I realized that we needed to get a good grasp on our budget. I am glad that we are never late on any of our bills but we could be much better off, and wiser with our spending. We just started doing some things that David Ramsey suggested, and tailoring for our family needs. Here is to getting debt free and paying off all our bills (besides regular monthly living expenses..water, electric..etc). My goal is to have enough money to outright buy our next vehicle and have no loans or monthly payments, and to outright buy a house. One of these years.
