Hey all! I've been lurking for a while but decided to join this particular team today.

1. My name is Karri - a grad student by day and everything else by night haha

4. I'm looking to shed about 180 pounds, seems so daunting at times. I had lost 80 pounds a couple of years ago but life slapped me and I've regained 40 pounds.
5. I don't really want to say I'm eating less of a certain food (I've already cut out soda/diet soda thanks to an ulcer) so I'm trying to eat my vegetables.
6. The activity I'm trying to do more of would definitely be just working out.
7. I have 10 tattoos, 3 college degrees (working on my 4th one now), do home healthcare taking care of my mom, serving as much as possible at my church, and just finding my way in this crazy world :)

I'm trying to cut back on sugar right now.

Hiya! My name is Sandy, I'm 35 year old graphic designer/nerd (and proud) from Central Florida.

My total goal is to lose at least 100 lbs and go into "onederland". Back in 2011-12, I had started the journey and lost over 40 lbs while going through my divorce. However since last April I managed to gain back almost half of it so I'm working right now to get back and on track and lose what I had gained.

I'm trying to eat less of all those "evil" foods.

The activity that I would like to do more of is strength training and conditioning. I LOVE getting on the treadmill, but I realize I have to involve other exercises in so that different muscle groups are worked.

Something unique about me. Hmmm. I'm a nerd. I have a personal Wonder Woman collection (hence the name WonderSandy). I'm into magical things like Harry Potter. I'm snarky. I wear Converse shoes ALL the time, even to work.

I'm rejoining spark because I am looking for the support that I will need for my journey that I don't get in my personal life. Would love to connect with others going through the same struggles as I am.

HELLO!

I'm Alexis. I live in New Mexico. I'm just about to turn 34. My "short term goal" or "realistic goal" is to lose 75 lbs, but ultimately I would like to lose 110 lbs.

I am really trying to up the veggies, and I'm trying to eat as little cow dairy as possible. (THAT IS SO DIFFICULT!)

Last year when I started taking steps to improve my life I began with walking, and then hiking. Now, almost a year later, I have just joined a CrossFit gym. This is high intensity workouts that use natural movements and little to no machines. It's intense, that's for sure!

Hmmmm...something unique about me...well, I'm single with no children. I work at a non-profit that serves youth. I love giving back to my community, but am glad I am learning how to give back to myself by taking better care of my mind and body.

WOO HOO! I'm SO glad I (finally) popped back on today after being sidetracked by facebook for so long!! Looks like we're all starting together!:)

Hiya! I'm Jennifer and I'm from Austin, Texas. I am 33 and I have been married for almost 11 years to my wonderful hubby. We have 2 kids..Alayna is 10(she was born with spina bifida and later diagnosed with aspergers) my son, Adam will be 4 Dec 28(my after Christmas sale baby)..I plan to lose at least 100 pounds and i need to cut the sugars and carbs to help do that. Christy, age 37 from San Antonio Texas. Born/raised in California.
Goal is 100 lbs - but I really would be happy with 85-90! 100 sounds so much better though :)
Eat less wheat, especially white flour. Less sodium and sugar.
Trying to get myself up to walking a 5K, but my knees don't like that! Right now working on crunches and pushups too. Already ride my bike for 60+ minutes.
Nothing that unique - I do have a really good memory and can tell you where to find stuff. My friend calls me all the time to find stuff in stores, and if I've seen it I know where it is. Same with my kids' stuff. I can tell you that your shoes are under the towel behind your door. :)

I'm Cobra Commander and I hail from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I'm 31 and looking to lose 100 pounds (it fluxes but really, that's where I'm at right now). I'm trying to eat less processed foods that are high in sodium and I'm trying to get to the gym a lot more. A unique thing about me is I play the ukulele.
