Hi and welcome! I hope it motivates you too!

I had my Eat Shrink and Be Merry book sitting on my shelf for a looong time before I really started cooking from it. Now I am addicted!

Hi! I stumbled across this team and am glad I did. I will admit that I own LooneySpoons (I've had it for quite some time) but....I've never used it! I have collected many cookbooks over the years, but actually use precious few of them. Hoping this team will motivate me to dive right in and get started on some great meals my whole family will enjoy!

I just discovered Janet & Greta about 6 months ago.
Today I watched their show "Oh Fudge".
Can't wait to try their no cook recipe. If you're interested www.eatshrinkandbemerry.com/section/

I've had Crazy plates forever and like all recipes I've tried from that book.

I just purchase ESBM and Looneyspoons within the past month

So happy to find this team! ESBM is my favorite cookbook right now....I also have Janet and Greta's other two. Are you guys on their email list because they recently invented a "new recipe" called Creamy Crab and Corn Chowder and emailed it to everyone.
Excited to hear about the recipes you have tried...

Ahhh, I am embarrassed to say, I have had the book, and (I have looneyspoons and crazyplates) forever, and did some at the beginning, but pulled it out again... thanks to Amanda!!! The first time I ever HEARD the term Trans Fat was from Greta at a baseball game, educating us all on the evils of it. Dave Chilton (the Wealthy Barber, and you can read his connection to the books), was my son's baseball coach!

yeesh, I got their first cookbook Looneyspoons in 1998 or 1999? something like that.
then Crazy Plates...
then Eat Shrink & Be Merry.
I have faves from all three, but get inspired by Amanda's blogs lately & a nurse I work with at work who EXCLUSIVELY cooks out of all these cookbooks & also inspires me to cook more out of them.

I've wanted to buy the book for a while now but I hadn't bothered. Then when I ordered "The Spark" from Amazon I needed to purchase something else to get the super-saver shipping. I ended up orderIng ESBM. Double bonus, two great books!

This is awesome. My wife and I cook from their cookbooks almost daily. We got Looney Spoons over the holidays and our collection is now at three. Sweet group!

Just wondering how long everyone has been an ESBM-er! I have been grabbing recipes from it now and then for the past couple of years, but really dove into it this January. I have cooked over 25 recipes in the book already!
