Hello everyone! I am new to this team. Walking is my exercise of choice. For every mile I walk I put a dollar in a jar and I am planning to buy some new, smaller clothes when I reach my goal. I have $122.50 in my jar. I am glad to be part of this team. Spark On!
I am hoping to make this year my walking and faster walking year :). A few years back I trained walk/running, then a couple of things came up all at once and I fell out of my routine and now, yeah me, my thighs rub again.. grrrr. I hope to get to know you all better on my journey and I intend to participate in a few 5ks and possibly another half marathon the end of this year.

Hi, I have been on Spark for a while but haven't been using it at all in quite a while. I just started using one of the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds last week. I was able to get in 5 days last week with just a mile a day, starting slow. This week I have upped it to 2 miles. I have enjoyed it so very much. Thank you
I just moved from California to Texas. Talk about big states. I have begun 2010 with the attitude that I come first. I have begun a lifestyle change and want to look my best like I did in 2001 (when I lost a lot of weight due to marital stress).
I hate gyms and cannot stand them plus cannot afford them. I love the outdoors and have begun walking. I try to walk a lot but am not that persistant and but with all of you to help me I guess I will acheive my goal.
Hi, I'm Jan, I moved from Michigan in 2006 to Reno Nevada, quite the change in local and life style.
I am considered a 'senior' in numbers but certainly not in the way I feel and act. Keeping healthy for myself is a major goal for me. I have added a 'few' (hmmm) pounds in the last year due to emotional eating and a divorce. I work full time nights and am a Grandmother of 5 and great grandmother to 1 ... I plan on dancing down the aisle when all of them get married ... think I'll walk from my home to Wyoming then on to Illinois to visit each of them ... this is not in real visits but walking and counting the miles .... at least it is a goal that will be fun to work on ....
