I was born and raised in So. Calif. It is very different in the south, although pretty. I hope you and your hubby can get back to Calif. I gather San Diego?
I know you can do this. One thing to remember. If you have a bad day or two, gain some of the weight back, don't beat yourself up. Just pick yourself back up, dust your pants off, and go for it again. My Motto is "tomorrow is another day"..
I was down to my goal weight, then my Hubby was laid off. Took 1 1/2 yrs. to find a job. I didn't think I was eating that much, but the scale sad differently lol. I got up to 165, and now at 157. I like your enthusiasm. Jeanne

You can do what I did......when the leader goes missing for a substantial period of time (which i will...) an option for a team member to take over the team as leader appears on the team page. Just click on it and follow directions. This is how I ended up as co-leader, a few years ago. The "inactive leader" notification was on the page when I checked in today, but disappeared as soon as I posted to one of the threads. I went to my first orientation for my graduate program today, and I can tell you it will be months before I get back on sp again.
A friend of mine (who has ALWAYS been thin) put me on to "Lose It. She knew I was a huge SO advocate, but urged me to give "lose it" a try. I installed it on my Android phone, and I absolutely like it better than the sp phone food tracker app. Mind you, nobody has surpassed SPin terms of online community excellence, in my opinion. But as far as smart phone food travkersgo, "Lose It" is the bomb!

I've been Mia, that's for sure! Busy in a Masters program and getting my admin credential as well as finding a food tracking app I like better than SP has kept me away. I do miss the support here, but find I only have so much time to devote to online life. Feel free to take this team.....I feel like a schlep that I've abandoned ship!
This team has been pretty quiet for some time. I come here two or three times a week, but I seem to be the only one. I am out of work now so that is why I have the time. I need to go out and look for a job, but this is more fun.
