I used to have a lab/dobie mix who never quite figured out he wasn't a tiny puppy any more and he was always getting under the coffee table or something else low, then if something caught his attention, he'd try to stand up and get all flustered because it was clear he forgot he was big now - he was also a lap dog, all 110 lbs of him, although smaller than a Dane to be sure!
