Welcome TSA and hello from Montreal!

Best of luck with your Trimix. As I wrote you earlier my other half is now in the process and should be done by late Sept. he and 3 other friends have their own compressor at our shop at work they have all they need to blend their own gases.

We just got back from Cozumel and went to the mainland to dive 2 cenotes. I can understand the pull to get cave certified.

Looking over the team's goals, I thought this might also be of interest to the members: I'm doing a couch to half marathon program at the moment, so I'll definitely be adding some miles up to the group's goal. And if anyone will be doing the Spartan Beast this December in Texas, hit me up. I'll be volunteering on Saturday and running it on Sunday!

Howdy.

As you'll no doubt guess from my user name, I'm a systems administrator in my real life (RHEL shop for those who may care). I'm also a student (SCUBA and college) and someone who loves to dive. I'm AOW/Rescue with deep and blender specialties, will be doing wreck this weekend and looking forward to doing PADI Tec65/Trimix over the next year.

After I get Tri (and have completed a tri), I intend to go full cave (probably NACD, but I'm leaving my options open as I can't do '65 or full cave at my current shop). And for those who share my sado-masochistic bent, I'm a lurker on TDS. PM me if you'd like to discuss over there. Oh, and I live somewhere within easy driving distance of Dallas.

I do live by Rule 6, but I'm not a GUE diver and don't know whether I'll drink that Kool-Aid(R) or not, we'll see. I guess that would also depend on if I get a transfer out to Florida, too.

So, howdy all. And thank you for the welcome PM Michelar!
