Hey there Debie! My local cold water diving starts at 64 degress. I will not do colder than that. But after being in Cozumel the last 2 wks in 86-88 degrees I just might give up local diving altogether.
Looks like you are doing great as a new single and enjoying life to the max! You will have a great time here and I am looking forward to getting to know you.

Thanks for the "warm" welcome Tina...hahaha, my idea of cold water diving is water around 62 degrees, then again, I do live in the desert, so that's darn near winter time for us!
Congrats on having your Rescue Diver cert and soooo close to being a Master Diver. I too one day will achieve these great levels.
Hi Debi! Welcome to our little piece of the world! I'm also single and 49, have Rescue Diver certification and am one class away from getting my Master Diver Certification. I live in Wisconsin, so, well, it would be quite a drive for us to meet in the middle to dive together....but, if you ever get up this way, I'll take you cold water diving!

Thank you Walkoffwin. That is a great welcome and I do appreciate you stopping by to say howdy.
I am so looking forward to hanging out and chatting, while getting to know everyone.
The possiblity of meeting others and getting the chance to talk aobut scuba and plan trips is exciting. Sure beats going about this adventure all on my own!
Hi Debie from New Mexico! And welcome to the Scuba Divers Team! Glad to have you with us. :o)
Congrats on losing weight and getting more fit. Please feel free to join us in the Divers Daily Fitness Center, under the Challenges - Weight Loss & Getting Physical Forum. This where we post our workouts and motivate each other to keep up the good work.
Then, for some fun and craziness, hang out and chat with us in the Narced Divers Lounge. The more the merrier, so please jump right in!

I'm Debie from New Mexico. Am 49, single and an Advance Diver.
Just bought an Aqua Lung BC, used on one dive in Jan, when I went to Florida.
Due to being newly single, I haven't had a chance to go scuba diving since Jan, but hope to pick up a singles group, or tag along with others on future trips....GIVE ME A HOLLER!!!!
Meanwhile, I'm losing weight, getting more fit, added bike riding, salsa dance lessons, salsa aerobics and weight training to my workout
