Hi team, my name is Frank. I'm new to the site, and am looking for buddies to help me unload some weight, so i can stop wearing so much lead!! I've been a diver now for about 10 years. I am a dive instructor, although lately, not so much. I've put on a lot of weight (100 pounds) over the last couple of years. So i've felt self consious about even going diving, let alone trying to set the example for new divers by being unhealthy. I've had weight issues all my life, but while I was on active duty with the Air Force I definitely had more motivation to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I retired a couple of years ago, and have been under a lot of stress. I eat from stress and emotions, so..... i plowed on the weight. I'm now looking to change my lifestyle back to a healthy one, and lose some weight. That way i can get rid of some of the lead from my weight belt, let alone from my back end. Not to mention that ill be able to fit into my wetsuits again.... :(
I look forward to being a member of this team, and appreciate the warm welcome, particularly by Michaela.
